Alley Cat has been DJing since 1997 and had her first release in 2000, Payload (Konflict Remix)" and "Iodine" on Skunkrock Productions. Collaborations later followed in the early 2000s on Reinforced with Native Minds as well as on Skunkrock with Daniel Savine. In 2009 she had the cult vinyl release on Offshore Recordings, "Sweet Spot" . Other releases followed such as "Don't Edit Me" on her own imprint Kokeshi. She has DJ'ed all over the world, had her own label nights at Fabric, created the Kokeshi ((pod)) Kasts and run the Kokeshi label since 2009. After over 25 years in the game, Alley Cat celebrated her new EP 'Big Bad Dark City' on Armory Recordings in September 2023. The 3-track EP has been playlisted multiple times and is being played and given the thumbs up by everyone from Kemal to Dgohn. After playing a prime-time set at Sun & Bass festival she is ready to play for S.P.Y’s residency a XOYO in London in November.
