Kemal — best known as half of the seminal duo Konflict — remains one of drum & bass’s most influential innovators. His early releases, including Messiah, Beckoning, The Mummy, and Bleed, helped define the sound of techstep and neurofunk, setting a creative benchmark that shaped the genre’s evolution.
After taking a break from music for several years, Kemal returned in 2019, reigniting his output with a series of high‑profile collaborations. Since then he has worked with Calyx, Dom + Roland, InsideInfo, Phace and D-Struct, bringing his signature precision and intensity into fresh creative partnerships and remixes. His recent track with InsideInfo also appears in Forza Horizon 6, introducing his sound to a global gaming audience.
Kemal has also been contributing to the next generation of producers through Sample Genie, creating a bespoke sample pack and a set of tutorials that explore his approach to sound design and music production.
